Planning & Zoning Appeals

Appeals to the action of the Zoning Administrator:

An interested person may appeal any decision taken or action not taken by the ZA by filing a notice with the ZBA or the Town Clerk within 15 days of the date of the decision or action.  Such notice must be in writing and include the name and address of the  person appealing, a brief description of the property affected, a reference to the regulations, the relief requested, and why the relief is believed to be proper. 


Appeals to the decisions of the Planning Commission or Zoning Board of Adjustment:

An interested person may appeal such decisions by filing an appeal with the Vermont Environmental Division. The interested person is required to have participated in the municipal regulatory proceeding.
